It’s finally here. After all the pissing, the wind, the cold and straight up retarded weather, summer finally comes. Thank the lord above for that. Goodbye 20 degree weather. Hello 26 degree nights under the moonlight. Beaches, sun, hot wind, and wearin’ Jordans with shorts come to mind when summer’s here.

And the best feeling of all: leaving work so that I can take the complete piss out of all the spare time I have now. No more idiot managers who know nothing, and finally more sun, fun and love. Two months of complete unadulterated freedom. What more could I ask for?

Enjoy the summertime y’all. Get into the summer madness. You’re playing yourself if you don’t.

I haven’t really posted anything in a while so I thought I might return to some mushy stuff since that’s been buggin’ me out a bit recently.

A few days ago, a very close friend of mine (let’s call him Wok) was talking about a good female friend of his that he once had a thing for. This all started around 5 months ago, but somehow or other, about 3 months ago she found out about his emotions and her response was negative. Regardless, it didn’t affect their friendship much at all since there was no confrontation over it… and eventually over time, the whole thing blew over and it was back to a normal but close friendship.

When you think about it, it seems all fine and dandy now. But unfortunately, it’s pretty natural for little bubblings of feeling to start popping up… and it’s only recently that it’s started to happen for Wok. Just imagine you were in his situation, and you get along with the girl so nicely. You both make each other so happy, you’re both always talking to no end, and you’re both on the same level too. Maybe it would even be the “couple vibe” that you might get. It seems natural that a relationship might work right? Sadly no. Not quite anyway. So now Wok is stuck in this kind of situation, where he’s constantly questioning himself as to why it just doesn’t happen, and why it didn’t work out in the first place. Maybe it’s because of the girl herself, or maybe it’s because there might be something that is still missing in Wok that might stop him from getting her. Either way… it’s sorta rough being in this situation. Luckily for Wok though, he just shoves it out of his mind as much as possible. In his words, he’s just “taking it easy, just see what happens in the future”.

Sadly for me, I’m starting to fall back into this boat. I’m in the exact same situation as he is. And it kills me that old emotions come up and bite you back. I don’t want to admit that they are trying to bubble up again, but obviously running away from it doesn’t help. Maybe I should just go out and hope for someone new to come along.
